What is Agibot?

Agibot is a personal AI agent that lives on your Mac. You can talk to it in the app, on Telegram or on Slack. It uses tools, browses the web, runs routines on a schedule and keeps a long-term memory that you can read, edit and delete.

Does Agibot keep working after I close the app?

Yes. Closing the window leaves Agibot running in the menu bar, and it can start when you log in. Routines keep running on schedule and send their results to your desktop, Telegram or Slack.

Does Agibot ask before it acts?

Yes. Every tool is set to allow, ask or block. Writing files, fetching web pages, deleting memories and scheduling all ask first by default. Shell commands stay off until you turn them on, always ask, and run in a macOS sandbox without network access. You can approve a request in the app or with a button in Telegram or Slack.

Which AI models can I use?

Agibot works with your own API key for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek or Mistral, with local models through Ollama, and with any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. You can also sign in with ChatGPT or Google instead of using a key.

Where is my data kept?

On your Mac. Conversations, memories and skills are stored in a local database, and provider keys are encrypted with the macOS keychain. Messages are sent to the model provider you choose. When Agibot learns from your corrections, it updates its local skills and memories, not the model itself.
